1965 Chevrolet C10 Short-Bed Pick up - LS1 Turbo
Fully restored only four years ago, this stunning show winning C10 Chevy Pickup truck features modern motivation courtesy of a 5.7 litre LS1 Chevrolet small block topped with a Billet core Pro Boost 80mm Turbo set up with custom built Turbo manifolds, a Turbo Smart 60mm wastegate, twin Holley 525 fuel injector pumps and mild cam.
Backing up the motor is a T-400 Auto with 2800 stall converter, a new Oliver's one piece tail shaft and a Dana 12" diff with LSD that spins smooth horsepower into miles of open-road reliability! A custom 31/2 “ stainless exhaust with twin stainless mufflers provides the aural entertainment and the C10 features a modern electric power steering set-up.
The C10 is also fitted with a transmission cooler, Castlemaine Rod Shop Hi torque starter motor, MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator with SPAL electric fans and Vintage Air-conditioning.
Stopping the C10 is courtesy of a power-assisted disc brake front and drum rear. The C10 is riding on lowered springs with Factor shocks with 20" steel wheels 245/45ZR20 on the front and 255/45ZR20s at the rear.
There's no shortage of hot rods with customised interiors, but a classic this cool looks the goods with the standard Chevy fitout. Featuring a plush bench seat, a painted dash, polished steering column, wood grain steering wheel, full carpeting, aftermarket pedals, new glass and door rubbers, a Kenwood aftermarket head unit with Blue tooth and ice cold Vintage Air-conditioning make this a very nice place to get down to business. Plus there's a dash mounted speedometer display to make sure you stay under the speed limit!!
'60s Chevys have aged with more grace than pretty much any other classic on the market. The restorer's decision to leave the C10's classic good looks alone and make only time-tested adjustments to the running gear is a huge part of why this truck works so well.
Supplied with current full NSW registration until November, 2026. Th C10 is also Queensland Blue plated.
