For sale is this iconic Lime Gold Metallic '67 Ford Mustang GT 390 big block S-Code in stunning restored condition. A matching numbers 390 Fastback with the sought after 4 speed manual transmission is now for sale from Perth, WA.

According to the tags, the car was built at Ford's Metuchen, New Jersey plant, rolling off the production line on the 20th December, 1966. The car is optioned with the prized S code 390ci 4V V8, with 1967 being the first year the famous FE big block was available in the Mustang. This car also includes the desirable GT Equipment Group, 4 speed manual gearbox, Limited Slip Differential, Sports Deck rear seat, AM Radio, Exterior Decor Group and Deluxe Seat Belts. 

As per the GT Equipment Group option, the Mustang features the GT spotlight grille, GT Badging, side stripe, GT fuel cap and quad exhaust. To complete the look, the Mustang rides on 15" chrome Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in white wall tyres.

Open the door and you will find the Ivy Gold interior with bucket seats split by a centre console. The factory style steering wheel sits in front of the driver with manual shifter and factory seat belts. The boot is decked out with the original style vinyl mat and spare wheel cover.

Pop the bonnet and you will find the optional, 390ci 4V FE V8 matching numbers engine. This has been rebuilt 5,000 miles ago with receipts. The engine is topped with a Holley carby, factory intake and exhaust manifolds. The engine bay itself is well presented with chrome Powered by Ford rocker covers and air cleaner. Exhaust escapes through the factory cast manifold through to a quad exhaust system. 

The engine is paired to a 4 speed Top Loader transmission. Power is fed to the rear wheels through a nine-inch differential with the 3.25:1 traction locking rear.

The underside has been restored to original condition with the front suspension and leaf springs reconditioned and the brakes are power boosted with dual master cylinder feeding disc brakes up front and the standard drum brakes in the rear.

This 1967 Ford Mustang S Code Fastback is a neatly restored example of an iconic American classic. The car is fitted with some nice options and comes complete with a copy of its Marti report confirming its original specification.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
