For sale is a genuine survivor 1971 Ford XY Falcon 500- Yellow Ochre fitted with the highly desirable GS Rallye Pack, retaining its original matching numbers 250ci 2V six-cylinder engine and factory 4-speed Top Loader manual transmission. Offered for your private inspection in Tamworth NSW.

This XY Falcon is a genuine one-family-owned example that has remained remarkably untouched throughout its life. in survivor condition, this Falcon represents an increasingly rare opportunity to secure an honest, original GS Rallye Pack car.

Showing just 80,899 original miles, the Falcon has spent the past 29 years in storage, travelling only 50 miles since its last registered roadworthy inspection in 1997. The original matching-numbers 250ci 2V engine is currently removed from the vehicle but is included in the sale, along with the factory 4-speed Top Loader manual gearbox. The vehicle is currently non-running, providing an ideal opportunity to preserve and recommission this exceptionally original example.

Inside, the Saddle interior remains beautifully intact, retaining its original bucket seats, factory door trims, carpet, roof lining, GS sports console, GS sports steering wheel, black GS instrument fascia, seatbelts. The level of originality throughout the cabin is rarely seen and speaks volumes about the care this Falcon has received over its lifetime.

Externally, the Falcon proudly wears its survivor character, retaining its original factory glass, genuine GS chrome wheel caps, original front and rear chrome bumpers and many other factory fittings. Its honest presentation makes it an ideal candidate for preservation, allowing the next owner to enjoy one of the few remaining unrestored GS Falcons.

Adding further provenance, the vehicle is accompanied by its original log books, documenting its history and reinforcing its exceptional one-family ownership from new. Sold new from E.D. Leece Ford in Quirindi NSW in April 1971.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
