To enhance quality and reliability, Ford engineers implemented over 2,000 modifications to the XB GT Falcon, including a revamped friction disc collapsible steering column that mitigated shocks experienced by the driver. This exceptional 1973 XB GT Falcon, showcased in its original Yellow Blaze paint with contrasting Black accents, is equipped with the matching numbers 351 4V Cleveland engine and a sought-after 4-speed Top Loader transmission linked to a factory 9" LSD. It has undergone careful upkeep featuring a minor restoration that includes an exterior repaint as well as refreshing of the engine bay and door jambs.
From a mechanical standpoint, the vehicle performs robustly and emits an incredible sound; the original engine has received mild enhancements while both it and the gearbox have been preserved in top-notch condition.
The interior features refurbished seats along with new carpeting but retains its authentic door cards and armrests, showcasing a blend of quality updates while honoring its classic design. It was presented at the 2023 GT Nationals, where it earned a Silver award in the Maintained XB GT category.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
