The third generation Corvette, based on the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes were the first to use T-top removable roof panels and featured extroverted styling, as well as a a range of engines from the 350 all the way to the big block 454.

For sale from our Sydney Showroom is a great entry point 1976 Corvette in factory Medium Red with original Black interior running the matching numbers L-48 350ci V8 motor, turbo-hydra-matic automatic transmission and geared with the G95 rear axle.

Imported to Australia from California in 2006.The current owner has fully serviced the car, rebuilt the brakes with new callipers, hoses, master cylinder and pads, fitted a new exhaust system, replaced all the door and targa top rubbers, and new battery terminal with kill switch.

He has also replaced the vacuum system ensuring that the pop-up headlights work perfectly and also have had the petrol tank acid clean refreshed, and the electrical wiring redone.
The Medium Red paint is in good condition having been restored in the USA prior to importation. The interior is all original and all instrumentation works as does the factory power steering. The Corvette is showing 54,470 Miles on the clock.

The Vette is riding on original 15x8” factory rims with new 245x60x15 Galaxy radial tyres.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
