1976 Holden LX Torana SLR - 355 Stroker V8

For sale is a genuine 1976 LX SL/R Torana in Palais White with black golf ball trim running a VN headed 355 stroker with High Rise COME manifold, Scat crank, H beam rods, forged pistons, ported heads, Holley 650 carby, extractors to 2 1/2" Lukey exhaust with 3" stainless tips. The gearbox is a Saginaw 4 speed with a reconditioned VL turbo diff now running 2.6:1 ratio. There is a new clutch and the diff has been recently reconditioned.
Built from an excellent rust and accident free body in 2016, this genuine SL/R Torana has been painted in 2 pack Palais White with correct LX SL/R 5000 bonnet black out and rear spoiler SL/R 5000 graphics. The SL/R has been upgraded to full A9X spec with bonnet reverse cowl and wide body flare kit. The interior is still all original Black Slate Golf Ball with original door cards, hood lining, gauges and steering wheel. Even the original AM radio and SL/R ash tray are still in their place. The Torana is showing a genuine 162,822 km from new and idles smooth, is super reliable and goes like stink! Its even economical (!) returning under 10 litres/100 klms at 110 kp/h. The Tory is fitted with a standard fuel tank with aluminium drop tank cover.
In the boot is a boot carpet, tools but no spare. There is also a fire extinguisher with a Nitrous sticker applied to frighten all potential drag racers.
Riding on 15 x 8" & 10" Hotwires with new 225 x 50 15" front and 265 x 50 15" rear Hankook tyres.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
