Super rare XC Falcon GS Hardtop. Factory Sno White in colour, this XC GS Falcon was originally spec'd with a 302 V8 and 4 speed manual gearbox. Now running a 351 Cleveland V8 and for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

When was the last time you saw an XC Falcon Hardtop advertised for sale? Let alone a factory GS, V8 and 4 speed manual in largely unrestored condition.

According to motoring journo Peter Wherrett from the well known Torque program that aired on the ABC in the 70s, the XC was the best sorted Falcon he had ever driven. He loved the interior design, the supportive seats and the dash layout. He said the brakes were spectacularly good and the performance although not quite in the category of a GT was certainly not far off.

FOR SALE is an excellent example of the rare to see XC Falcon GS Hardtop. A factory Sno White hardtop with Ochre trim, this GS is presented in what we regard as maintained condition. The XC has been repainted in the original Sno White and although an older paint job, the car still presents well with some to be expected imperfections and patina in line with the age of the paint.

The original interior is all still in place including the Ochre seat trims, carpets, hood lining and door cards. The GS dash, gauges and steering wheel are also factory original and the original radio and clock are all in their place. An aftermarket stereo and working ice cold under-dash A/C have been fitted to the car.

Mechanically, the XC GS runs a 351 2V Cleveland V8, 4 speed single rail manual gearbox and 9" LSD rear end. The GS is an excellent reliable driver and features a Motorcraft 4BBL carby, electronic ignition, high energy coil pack, mechanical and thermo fans, extractors and a PBR brake master. The XC has been recently serviced with new fluids, starter motor and larger diameter leads.

Built in the same month as the now legendary Falcon Cobra, this Falcon has covered a genuine 199,938 klms from new and comes with some spare seat trim and the original keys.

The XC is riding on 15" Performance Globe alloy wheels with BF Goodrich T/A Radials, 225/60R15 front and 295/50R15 on the rear. There is a boot spoiler at the rear and a spare tyre and tools in the boot.

This is an unique opportunity to acquire a rare well priced XC GS Falcon Hardtop that can be driven and enjoyed as is or further improved to suit your personal taste.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
