The hottest thing going in the hot rodding world right now! The Chevy C10 SWB Pick-up. Now for sale, a nut and bolt restored 1987 Chevy C10 SWB Pick-up truck running the original 350ci V8 engine, 700R4 Automatic with Power steering, Power brakes and Air conditioning, lowered and riding on 20” American Racing Wheels. For sale from Camden, NSW.

This 1987 Chevy C10 Pick up has been through a full nut and bolt, chassis up rebuild. Square body Chevy trucks like this have soared in popularity and value over the last ten years and this being an '87 model is the most sought after especially in the short wheel base version.

The body was completely separated from the chassis before being prepped for paint. Any necessary repairs were made before the truck was completely repainted inside and out in a deep metallic burgundy. Even the inside of the tub is gloss painted to match the outside. The chrome bumpers, front grille, lights and badges were all either refinished or replaced. And the good looks are complimented by the 20” polished American Racing Wheels.

On the inside, the floors have been covered in fresh burgundy carpets and the bench seat has been retrimmed in a high quality burgundy leather in a factory style tuck and roll. The dash and gauges have all been refurbished and there is a nice aftermarket steering wheel. Even the headliner is all new and colour matched and there are three point seat belts for safety. As far as Pick-ups go, this is loaded with modern luxuries including power steering, power brakes and air conditioning.

Under the bonnet is the original 350ci V8 fuel injected engine. The engine bay has been highly detailed and features painted inner guards as well as new bolts and hardware throughout. The engine is paired to the factory 700R4 automatic transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels via the factory 10 bolt differential. Everything underneath the car has been rebuilt or replaced with the same level of finish and detail extending to the undercarriage. The suspension has been lowered approximately 3" giving the truck a street machine tough stance.

These short wheel base Chevy Square body Pick-ups have a huge following and for good reason. They are old enough to still be cool and nostalgic but modern enough to actually drive. And the modern creature comforts like Air and Power Steer make driving a real pleasure. We rarely see these trucks fully restored to this standard in Australia and this would have to be right up there with one of the best we have seen.

Riding on those stunning 20" American Racing Wheels with Grenlander 245/40 ZR20 tyres on the front and 275/40ZR20 on the rear. The current owner has just serviced the brakes and overhauled the suspension.

Sold with full NSW registration until 14th September, 2024. Located in Camden, Western Sydney. (Ref. 6467)

If you wish we will gladly arrange a video tour of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door enclosed transport anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
