If you are looking for a Holden SS Ute with heaps of extra mumbo, then take a closer look at this one. What looks like a fairly stock VY SS Holden Ute in Red Hot paint turns out to be a true MONSTER. Running a big $$$$ 429 Billet LS stroker, this ONE OWNER SS will satisfy your cravings for power. For sale from Wattle Grove, Sydney.

Ordered new by the current owner in November 2002 from Suttons Holden in Rosebery Sydney, the 6 speed manual SS was then shipped to Corsa Special Vehicles in Melbourne where the Ute received upgrades to the interior, body kit, wheels and engine enhancements in December 2002. Corsa named the CSV ute package "The Bullet" upgrading the factory 5.7 Litre LS1 to 315kW, fitting stainless steel high output headers, stainless steel exhaust, Harrop brakes, Koni suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels and Bridgestone 245/35ZR19 tyres. In addition, the interior was upgraded with stunning Italian style red and black leather seats, a Corsa steering wheel and a build number plaque on the glove box. Used as a daily driver for the Central Coast based owner to travel daily to Sydney, the owner decided to up the ante about 2 years ago and build something super special.

The rebuild programme undertaken using Sam's Performance Centre Sydney in 2019 resulted in significant upgrades to the vehicle. The new 6.2L LS billet block was stroked to 429ci and featured high-quality internals such as a Callies crank and rods, Diamond pistons, and a specialised roller Cam from Texas Heads. The addition of an Edelbrock 100mm throttle body with direct air induction, a High Rise Manifold, new engine mounts, coils, and hi-performance leads further enhanced the engine's performance.

Extractors were installed, leading to a 3" stainless steel exhaust for improved airflow. A new tail shaft with Tru Trac 3.7 diff ratio and Harrop high volume case was also fitted to the vehicle. The fully balanced motor was paired with a new radiator, thermo fans, a rebuilt LS1 power steering pump, and an automatic transmission cooler. Additionally, the 6-speed gearbox was rebuilt as part of the upgrade.

Since completion in 2021, the vehicle has travelled only 2,000-2,500 km. The performance combination has achieved a powerful 595 hp at the flywheel, delivering high torque and compression for instant sharp power - making it an ideal choice for raw power street enthusiasts.

The SS also was fitted with new Bilstein suspension front and rear tuned at DNA Motorsport. They also fitted Harrop brakes with cross drilled discs and cooling crowns on the front. VE wheels and RE 003 Bridgestone tyres were also fitted.

On the inside, the SS retains the original Corsa Special Vehicles leather upholstery, steering wheel and dash board build plate noting the build number as #73.

Full NSW registration until 24/11/2024. CSV-315 plates come with the vehicle to a NSW buyer. Located in Wattle Grove, Sydney for your inspection. (Ref. 6488)

If you wish we will gladly arrange a video tour of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door enclosed transport anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
