The meticulous ground up nut and bolt restoration by renowned Munster Muscle Car restorations of this stunning HQ GTS Monaro Coupe is now complete! This is a no expense spared restoration of a super rare Holden that has been built with exacting precision to deliver stunning good looks as well as exceptional driving characteristics. Munster Muscle has built many exceptional cars over the years and this is one of if not his best restoration to date.
Originally built at the GMH Melbourne Plant and sold through City Motors at Osborne Park in Perth, the car runs the '73 installed GMH NASCO replacement 308 V8, Tri-Matic automatic gearbox and 3.36:1 Salisbury LSD diff.
Coupes are now few on the ground and the HQ model is the most sought after of the 2-door series. Add to that a GTS in one of the most desirable HQ colours restored by one of the country's best restorers and you are on a winner. This no expense spared nut and bolt restoration by Munster Muscle started with a phenomenally solid body. The paint finish is truly extraordinary. Mechanically the resto has included the blue printing and balancing of the 308 motor, rebuilding the gearbox and diff, plus fitting a full stainless exhaust front to back.
The Monaro is factory fitted with power steering further complimenting the drivability of this stunning GTS. And Munster Muscle has fully documented the restoration with photos and receipts. The car features ultra-rare NOS Antique Brown trim. Of course, everything has been checked, recalibrated, rebuilt so that it all works perfectly.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
