Fully restored from a shell on a rotisserie in 2011 and painted in 2 pak Suzuki red with cream leather trim this 1952 Super Rocket 88 Oldsmobile Convertible Restomod is running a stock Holden Commodore LS2 fuel injected 6.0L V8, T700 automatic and Jag XJ6 rear end. The Oldsmobile is fully engineered and strengthened and has had full NSW registration and currently has full Queensland registration. For sale from Cairns, North Queensland.
The Oldsmobile Super 88 has been converted to right hand drive using Jaguar steering, suspension front & rear. It has an Aluminium radiator, fuel tank & electric cooling fan and full dual ceramic coated exhaust. Braking is via Jaguar XJ12 master cylinder and 4 wheel disc brakes.
Interior features BMW E46 Convertible front leather electric seats, original dash converted to RHD with digital speedo, fuel, temp and oil pressure gauges, electric front windows, central locking, electric and hydraulic opening roof and restored original steering wheel. A new radio and aerial attached to windscreen with Blue Tooth and microphone are installed and the speedo has recently been fully reconditioned.
Very neat boot trimmed in cream carpet with spare wheel and hidden battery. The car is showing 54,508 klms.
The Super 88 is riding on 18x7" Weld Racing alloy rims with brand new 225/50ZR18 tyres all round.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
