Well presented external restored Holden HR Utility running a freshly rebuilt 202ci six-cylinder engine with XU-1-inspired performance specifications, rebuilt M21 4-speed manual, for sale from our Sydney Showroom.

The Holden HR is one of GMH's most recognisable Australian icons. Introduced in 1966, the HR continued Holden's tradition of producing tough, practical and stylish vehicles perfectly suited to Australian conditions. Today, quality HR Utilities have become highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts, particularly well-presented examples with the right combination of originality, performance and restoration.

This beautifully presented 1967 HR Utility is finished in the highly desirable Kurrewa Blue and has undergone an external, engine bay and interior restoration.

At the heart of this HR is a 202 Black six-cylinder engine rebuilt by Felsch Race Engines, with less than 100 km travelled since completion. The engine has been fully balanced and blueprinted and features a performance combination designed to deliver strong, responsive performance while retaining the unmistakable character of a classic Holden six.

The engine specification includes a Yella Terra head, roller rockers, alloy timing gear, XU-1 35/65 solid camshaft, solid lifters, Black Starfire rods, electronic ignition, 175 CD XU-1 carburettors and XU-1 headers.
The driveline has received the same level of attention. The M21 4-speed manual gearbox has been fully rebuilt and is fitted with a new shifter and linkage. The clutch, pressure plate and thrust race are all new, while new uni joints have been installed and the tailshaft has been rebalanced.

Visually, the HR presents beautifully in Kurrewa Blue, with the paint approximately five years old and showing very well. The interior has been completely retrimmed and features Holden HR bucket seats along with the highly desirable HR X2 instrument dash, giving the cabin a genuine performance Holden feel.
