For sale is a meticulously restored factory V8 1969 HT GTS Monaro in Sebring Orange now running a small block 350 V8 mated to the factory 4 speed manual Saginaw gearbox and the factory fitted 10 bolt Chevrolet Salisbury rear end with limited slip diff as used in 81837 models. Fitted with a dealer installed Webasto sunroof, this stunning Monaro is for sale from Canberra, ACT.

A local Canberra car, this fully restored HT GTS was treated to a three year ground-up rebuild with no expense spared and no corners cut. The owner has taken extensive photo records of every part of this meticulous restoration with photos and video files covering every aspect of this rebuild. Restored to its original colour of Sebring Orange with a full retrim to the interior in stunning Sandalwood trim fitted to body hugging Recaro front seats and the factory rear seat, this is a very attractive Monaro GTS that has been restored lovingly without regard to expense.

Built by Holden in August 1969 with a 253 V8 mated to a 4 speed Saginaw gearbox, a previous owner swapped the factory 253 for a fully rebuilt small block 350 V8. The 350 motor features forged pistons, double row timing chain, Comp cams with Rolon chain, Yella Terra rockers, Melling high volume oil pump, ATR Pacemaker headers, Edelbrock Torker II manifold, Fitech injection system and ported heads.

Braking is via a KTG Booster & master cylinder. The GTS is riding on period correct Jelly Bean alloys with Toyo 225/60/14 on the front and Hankook 235/60/14 at the rear.

Included in the purchase of the car is a low-numbered 253 block as well as loads of receipts and paperwork, a 280 page write up of the rebuild complete with photos and videos covering every aspect of this rebuild.

This is a stunning example of one of Holden's most iconic models and is fully sorted and built to be driven and enjoyed. And what a combo! Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
