1973 Holden LJ Torana GTR XU2 Tribute
The infamous Torana XU-2. It never made it to the showroom floor or onto the race track but here we have a very clean replica that shows just how potent the XU-2 could have been. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.
This attractive Deep Purple vehicle features a newly installed 308 V8 engine with an Edelbrock carburetor, high-rise manifold, alloy heads, and custom extractors. It includes a reverse cowl bonnet, oversized alloy radiator, six-blade mechanical fan, and vacuum tank. Power is delivered via a Supra five-speed transmission to a strong 9" rear end with disc brakes, and all necessary documentation is provided.
A pretty potent combo in this light weight coupe! Stock GTR interior with race drivers seat and aftermarket Autometer gauges, push button start and kill switch.
Braking is sourced from a HQ Statesman with 290mm disks and PBR calipers on the front and a Ford 9" disc brake rear end. The Torana is also fitted with K-Mac stabiliser bars and a 77 litre Bathurst fuel tank. The XU-2 is riding on Street Slick Federal 595RS tyres 205x50x15s on CSA Globes all round with HQ stud pattern.
Don't just dream it. Live it and hear it! Impossible to build and engineer today, this is a great opportunity to appreciate the brain child of GMH race supremo John Harvey.

AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
