For sale from our Sydney Showroom is this well priced 5 speed manual 1996 VS HSV ClubSport Build No 1120 in striking Diablo Red presented with log books and 193,780 Klms on the clock.

The HSV ClubSport was born in the late 1980s when HSV decided it needed a new entry-level car to attract those who wanted the HSV badge but couldn't justify the price of the higher spec'd HSV models. The resulting ClubSport became one of HSVs most popular and effective performance cars featuring great looking body kits with deep front aprons, solid side-skirts, prominent rear spoilers, and aggressive five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.

Under the bonnet, the 5.0-litre V8 was treated to a few HSV tweaks, including a cold-air intake, low-restriction exhaust and some fiddles to the onboard computer. All up, HSV endowed the ClubSport with 185 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque.

For sale is a well priced example of the HSVs VS ClubSport. Build No. 1120 is presented in totally original condition throughout. The car features the original Diablo Red factory paint and shows nil accident damage, rust or dents.

Mechanically, the ClubSport runs the matching numbers 185 kW 5 Litre Aussie V8 engine mated to the sought after 5 speed manual gearbox. HSV set the ClubSport up with a firm ride and the car's long wheelbase, wide track and independent rear suspension make it stable and easy to punt around on a racetrack or cruise comfortably on the highways. Motoring journos of the day concluded that HSV's ClubSport had a raw, racy feel.

On the inside, Build 1120 is in excellent original condition with the interior seat coverings in very good unmarked condition despite the genuine 193,780 Klms covered since new. The VS model ClubSport also features the first of the driver airbags for the Commodore. The HSV features working factory Air conditioning, Power Windows and Cruise Control.

Sold originally by Suttons Homebush NSW, Build No. 1120 comes with  Holden dealership folder and owners log books. The Clubby is riding on the factory 17" ClubSport wheels.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
