When you're on a good thing stick to it. And Holden's designers knew they had a great product in the LS1 powered SS Commodore. With small improvements over the VT and then the VX Series 1, the Series 2 fine tuned the suspension with the inclusion of an extra link arm in the Commodore's independent rear suspension. This IRS system helps improve rear end grip and also ride quality.

For sale from our Sydney Showroom is a great entry level Aussie muscle car -  a Quicksilver VX Series 11 SS Commodore. Running the matching numbers 5.7L Gen III LS1 V8 Chevy-sourced powerhouse making around 225 kW and 460 Nm and fitted with the four speed automatic presented in stock unmodified condition. The car is showing a genuine 165,293 klms from new.

The exterior paint is in very good maintained condition for the age and mileage. The interior is clean with only minor wear and all gauges work as does the factory radio and factory A/C.

 The SS is fitted with factory power steering and FE2 suspension and is riding on factory alloy rims. The car comes with a spare but no tools. 

This VX Series 11 SS Commodore comes with the owners manuals and one genuine key.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
