Holden's Monaro concept born from the VT Commodore provided a great canvas for the engineers at HSV to develop a high po version of the newly minted Monaro. Known as the GTO Coupe and introduced in 2001, HSV squeezed 40 more horses out of the General's LS1 pushrod all-American Gen III 5.7-litre V-8 and , this impeccable Sting Red and Anthracite leather trim GTO presents a great opportunity to purchase a fully documented and well loved 6 speed manual example of the first of the HSV GTO breed. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

For sale is HSV GTO Build No. 418 in signature Sting Red. This GTO was originally sold through Suttons, Waitara and comes with the original owners log books with extensive service history, the original HSV authenticity certificate and other documents plus two sets of keys. The GTO remained with the original owner until 2014 when traded to Suttons Waitara on a HSV GTS-R. Purchase by the second owner at that time with 89,000 km on the clock, this owner had HSV upgrade the GTO with Harrop's front and rear Big Brake package. He also added a SS induction Big Mouth Growler cold air intake, a custom set of Pacemaker headers and a high flow exhaust. The sound system has also been upgraded to an Alpine touch screen head unit with front and rear speakers and amplifier. The original sound system is included with the car.

The current owner purchased the GTO with 129,000 Klms on the clock and has used the HSV sparingly. Build 418 now has a genuine 132,651 km on the clock. The matching numbers engine has been fully maintained including a recent service (receipt attached in photo gallery). Presented with all HSV documentation including log books, owners manuals, verification certificate, an HSV duffle bag in the boot and the factory HSV gifts in the centre console including Tyre Pressure Gauge, Pocket Knife, Pen Torch and Fuse Puller.

The HSV is riding on factory 18-inch HSV alloys with near new 235/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all round.

The HSV GTO Coupe is a perfect blend of HSV performance and Holden Monaro good looks. Turn the key and that thunderous 255kW Gen III V8 comes to life with that satisfying deep induction and exhaust note. Slot the 6 speed into gear and enjoy this legendary Grand Tourer.
